Terms and Conditions of renting a car with Corfu City Cars.
1. Reservations
All reservations are made based on the vehicle category, not for a specific model. In case of non-availability of a vehicle in the category pre-selected by the customer, always with reference to a confirmed reservation, Corfu City Cars reserves the right to provide to the customer a similar category car, at no extra charge for the customer.
2. Driver
23 years old is the minimum age requirement for using cars of out categories.
3. Driving license
Production of a valid license for driving in the Greek territory and the E.U., issued at least 1 year prior to the rental’s starting date, is required. Citizens of countries outside the E.U. are required to be in possession of a valid international driving license, along with producing the national driving license.
4. Traffic tickets – Fines
Traffic tickets and fines due to violations of the Highway Code are borne by the Renter. In addition, the Renter undertakes the payment of management costs, where required.
5. Means of Payment
The Renter is required to pay the full amount in cash on delivery for the rental.
6. Cancellations
Cancellation of a reservation must be done at least seventy two (72) hours prior to the scheduled date and hour of commencement of the vehicle’s rental (always according to the exact hour of reservation), as this has been made in the company’s reservations system. Should you wish to cancel a reservation, you should contact the company through the contact form on the website.
7. Additional driver
The charge for each additional driver is 3€/day. The maximum number of drivers is set at 2 persons.
8. Child seat
The charge for child seat is free upon request by the customer and based on the company’s availability.
9. Fuel
The renter has to return the car with the same quantity of fuel it had when collected. In case the car is returned with a quantity of fuel less than the original (namely, less than the quantity of fuel the vehicle had when collected by the customer), the customer shall be charged with the fuel difference. No customer refund is provided in case of the car returned with a quantity of fuel greater than that collected. Vehicles are delivered with a minimum quantity of fuel, corresponding to ¼ of the reservoir.
10. Car transport by ship
For the car’s transport by ship, the company’s written approval is required.
11. Car Rental Insurance
Do you provide insurance? All vehicles are insured against liability to third parties for death or injury or property damage (With Excess).Our free basic insurance covers you for CDW/third party and personal accident this comes with an excess of 800 euros for small – medium cars and 1200 for Suv and minibuses.

S. C. D. W : Super Collision Damage Waiver with (Zero Excess)
NOT valid when driving under the influence, speeding or in traffic violation.
Rent A Car will not be responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving off road, or driving without care and attention. For any damage or accident to the vehicle, without the presence of the Police Report, none of these are covered from the Insurance.
12. Vehicle Cleaning Charge
If you return the car very dirty, then you will be charged 30€ (including VAT) for the cleaning of the vehicle.
